MAKERERE UNIVERSITY Business School (MUBS) will be looking to extract maximum points when they travel to Luwero today to take on Ndejje University in the Nile Special and Pepsi sponsored University Football League.
MUBS will be looking to capitalise on last Nkumba’s draw with Ndejje last week which left MUBS second on the table standings one point behind table leaders Kampala University. For Hilary Kimbugwe, MUBS Sports Tutor, it’s simply a matter of preparation and game strategy. “Ndejje are a good team.
We know they have beefed up their team with Big League players but football is played not with big names,” Kimbugwe said. “We are going to capitalize on their mistakes. Any mistake they make, we shall punish them,” Kimbugwe added.
MUBS will be without fi rst choice goalkeeper Ramathan Masaba who was injured during last week’s match against KIU at Nakawa. He will be replaced with Elias Mbago. Ndejje University will however be looking to frustrate MUBS as they did Nkumba University.
“We have reinforced our team with players like Sam Matovu, Andrew Katende and Edward Kabonero an are looking forward to our remaining games,” Raymond Komakech, the Ndejje University coach said. “To me, MUBS are the title favourites but they should come ready to be frustrated. It’s not going to be a walk in the park,” said Komakech.
“We are going to polish our game and rectify our few mistakes and we actually expect to get three points from MUBS,” Komakech added.
