The MUBS Leadership Centre has won a grant to run a Barclays Bank young leaders mentoring programme. This programme is intended to mentor young people into visionary and effective leaders. As part of its social corporate responsibility, Barclays Bank recognizes the need to empower young people to take over the management of affairs of society. The Bank feels young people have no opportunity to be prepared in important aspects in managing important affairs in leadership. Among its youth activities, it has developed a mentorship programme which runs with different education institution. The MUBS Leadership Centre will be the executing agency in Uganda. The programme will involve the young people writing an essay as a basis for selection of who will be mentored. Thereafter the selected people will be attached to renowned business leaders in the industry who will work with them for sometime. The detailed programme will soon be announced on the MUBS Leadership Centre Facebook page.
